Ugandan bloggers who have not been paid for social media posts are asking for help in paying their bills.
News24.com reported on the situation last week.
A group of bloggers are asking people to post tweets on their Facebook page asking for donations to cover the costs of the expenses.
They said that the posts would help them financially, but they are still struggling to pay for things like rent and food.
“I am still struggling with rent.
I have no food,” said one of the bloggers.
The blogger told News24 that the first two months of this year, she has only received two days of food.
“I have no money to buy anything and I am struggling to survive,” she added.
People on Facebook are also asking for a link to their bank statements, so they can verify their bank account balances.
In a Facebook post on Monday, the blogger said she has been unable to pay her rent and that she is working part time and saving money to make ends meet.
