Read more”They are the ones who make the clothes we wear,” said Aditya Sood, the owner of an online clothing store called Kamaal & Co. “The fashion industry is a global industry and all of the brands are doing very well, but there are many brands who are struggling and we have to help them.
If you can make a living in fashion, you should be allowed to be creative.”
Sood, who is also the CEO of the Mumbai-based brand Kamaalis, is the author of the blog Kamaali, which he launched in 2017.
The blog is aimed at fashion bloggers who want to show off their creations on the internet, and is aimed towards those who are into “post-modernism”.
“We are an indie company and we are trying to make a change in the fashion world,” he told Al Jazeera.
“Our main focus is to make clothes people love to wear, and we want to do that on a small scale.
We are trying our best to make things that people are excited about and are not scared of, so they can wear them all day and not feel bad about it.”
According to Sood’s business model, his business will make clothes that are affordable and available in different colors.
He also sells them on Etsy and has been doing this since 2017.
“It is not something we are doing for the money, it is something that we are able to do on a shoestring,” he said.
“We are very passionate about our business and are trying hard to keep up with the times and improve our product line.”
In the last three years, the fashion sector has witnessed a rise in new brands.
In 2019, Kamaals’ Kamaala, a women’s line featuring dresses, jackets, pants and shorts, sold 1.5 million copies, while the label Kamaansa, a men’s line that features jeans, t-shirts and hoodies, sold 690,000 copies.
According to research conducted by market research firm iSuppli, the US is the top market for fashion, with over a billion dollars being spent on fashion last year.
The trend for women’s clothes is not only on the rise, but also for men’s clothes, with Kamaalin, which sells its line exclusively to men, and Kamaasa, which has expanded to offer a range of men’s styles, gaining more than 3 million new customers.
“The fashion world seems to be moving away from the traditional, traditional style.
The fashion trends seem to be changing and you are seeing a lot more fashion that is modern,” said Dina Raghavan, an assistant professor of international marketing at the University of Pennsylvania, who studies online fashion trends.”
You are seeing people wearing things that are not typical, but they are very chic and unique.
There is a real shift to be seen and I think that’s great for fashion.”
It has been the trend to be more creative and to be the ultimate ‘trendy’ that you can be in your own style and that’s what the fashion bloggers are doing.
“I think we are becoming more creative.
I don’t think we have reached the point of being the fashion supermodel that we used to be, and now it is just more about fashion.
But it is definitely happening,” Raghavans said.”
What is really amazing about this is that people like to wear the clothes.
You will see a lot of people who are looking at a particular design and are really inspired by it, because they know it is a design that works for them.”
Sookam Shah, a marketing consultant and the founder of marketing agency Mimi Kustom, said the trend for designers and brands who create for the internet is really exciting for the fashion market.
“We do not know what the next fashion trend is, but this is definitely the trend that has a lot to do with it,” she said.
Sohail Ahmad, a fashion and lifestyle expert, said it is not the fashion trends that are driving the fashion business, but the fact that brands like Kamaalesa are looking to cater to the consumer.
“There are a lot bloggers who are trying their best to create a new kind of fashion.
And this is why it is very important for the brands to understand what the consumer wants and what is their target market,” he added.”
If the brand is going to cater for consumers, then the marketing of the brand needs to be focused on marketing the products that the consumer actually wants.”
