EGYPT — It’s a world away from the bustling streets of Cairo or the bustling shopping streets of the Gulf States.
But, the country that makes its name in the global fashion world still has its share of male fashion bloggers.
A few months ago, a man from the Egyptian capital of Cairo named Mohammed Elshorbagy was invited to the official debut of a new blog.
He didn’t have much to show for his three years as a blogger, but he didn’t mind.
“I am a Muslim and I don’t wear my headscarf,” he said.
“I’m going to wear my hair up.”
Elshorbags new blog, titled “Dahr al-Fahd,” is a celebration of Arab culture.
He shares a few tips for aspiring fashion bloggers in Egypt, from how to dress to what he eats.
He said he hopes to share some of the most creative fashion tips and advice with the country’s young and up-and-coming fashion designers.
Elsharbagy, 31, came to the United States as a refugee in 2007 and is from the northern province of Sinai.
He started the blog on March 18, 2012, and has since shared some of his tips and tricks for fashion blogging.
For starters, you have to dress up to be the best you can be.
“You should always wear something to hide the beard,” he explained.
“And if you want to be cool, wear a long-sleeve shirt or something that you have.
You have to make it look cool.”
Elshembogy said he uses his social media to connect with other fashion bloggers and promote himself.
He also posts about the country on his blog.
Elsharbags own blog, which has more than 3,600 followers, is called “Al-Fatah” (“The Fat”) and covers the culture of Egypt and its people.
He also has a Facebook page, “Alfah.com,” where he shares photos and videos of the Egyptian people.
Elshurbagy said that in Egypt fashion blogs can be seen in many different forms.
There are traditional bloggers like Mohamed Ali, who shares traditional fashion tips; and others who share the latest fashion trends and trends in the Muslim world.
He said it’s important to stay true to your beliefs, and to be respectful of people’s culture.
Elshelbagy has been sharing his tips for Egyptian bloggers on his Facebook page for a while, but Elshurabogy says he is only now starting to get some recognition.
He wants to be recognized for his efforts.
El shorbagya said he was surprised when he was contacted by a blogger in Saudi Arabia.
“The guy called me and said ‘I’ve been following your blog for a long time,'” he said, “and he was really excited about it.
I’m so happy.
He’s an old guy, but I’m excited about this.””
He’s really into Egyptian culture and he’s interested in fashion and he loves the blog,” Elshshurbog said.
He hopes to keep growing his blog and making it more accessible to Egyptian bloggers.
He is also planning to travel to the Middle East to visit his family and see his wife.
“She said ‘This is a really important part of my life, so we’re going to make a trip,'” Elsharragy said.
The Saudi blogger added that Elsharfogy has already been in touch with the blogger in Cairo and will be back to see him soon.
In Egypt, the main fashion blog in Cairo, Dahr el-Fawad, is owned by Ahmed Aboul Gheit, who has since left the blog.
But he still maintains the page, Elshourabogies blog.
El Shorbagye said he will continue to update the page with new and exciting fashion tips.
